Chef de Partie x 2

Our Client - Seeks an experienced Chef de Partie to join the team at their Luxury Hotel in the Irish Midlands.

Duties include:

  • Carrying out all duties as requested, and to the satisfaction of the Head Chef.

  • Reporting for duty, on time and in the correct uniform.

  • Prioritising guest orders and requests always.

  • Ensuring that all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion and to the appropriate standards.

  • Explaining menu content if required.

  • Ensuring that any anticipated shortages are communicated promptly.

  • Ensuring a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.

  • Ensuring your own work area is always clean and tidy.

  • Participating in training programs as required by management.

  • The above is not intended to be an exhaustive list and you will be expected to comply with any reasonable requests or duties as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 4 years of practical culinary experience.

  • Formal culinary training desirable.

  • HACCP trained and allergy aware.

  • Be passionate about producing good quality food.

  • Be a strong team player.

  • Ability to take direction and being able to perform under pressure.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with garnish or starters an advantage.

Duty Manager - Dublin City

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager in their Dublin City 4* Hotel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained from each department.

  • Ensure the correct staffing levels are in place in all departments throughout your shift and to co-ordinate with the departmental manager if rosters need to be adjusted.

  • Oversee the correct set–up and preparation of scheduled functions.

  • Ensure that all complaints/queries are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Have previous supervisory experience within the Hotel or Hospitality Industry.

  • Possess excellent customer service skills.

  • Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike

  • Be capable of up-selling all areas of the Hotel.

  • This position will require working weekends.
